![]() Monsters are restricted from leveling above Level 10 without the aid of a temple. Legendary monsters may only be placed in legendary habitats. Hybrid monsters may be placed in either habitat corresponding to either of its elements. Monsters must be placed in a habitat that corresponds to their element. The element which a particular monster belongs to determines which of the habitats it can be placed in after being hatched. There are ten elements in Monster Legends. Gold runes cannot be mutated, speed and power runes cannot be mutated together, and single and team effect runes cannot be mutated together.Each monster in Monster Legends has a single element or combination of 2 elements. Level 10 runes can be mutated to super runes (also referred to as SX runes) and require only 2 runes. Mutating requires two identical runes and one other rune of a different kind but same level. Runes of the same level (level 5 or higher) can be mutated to boost a secondary stat. The resulting rune level dictates the length of time required to craft the rune:Īll rune effects add, they do not multiply. However, using runes of the same level guarantees a higher level rune will be produced. The resulting rune level and type depend on the levels and types of the runes used to craft it. įour runes can be crafted together to form a new one. The second slot may be unlocked for 15 and the third slot for 25. When a monster is hatched, it is randomly assigned between 1 and 3 slots for free. However, the upgrade option doesn't appear and can't be used when a rune is being crafted.Įach monster has a maximum of 3 slots where players may place runes. In order to craft and equip runes of higher levels, the building must be upgraded. ![]() The Runes Building is where runes may be equipped, crafted, and purchased for gold or gems.
